Le Paradis campsite has the charm of a typical small village in the Périgord. You’ll find the reception, restaurant and shop in old farm buildings built in the golden stone of the Dordogne.
We are there to help you choose a walking circuit, book a massage or sort out any unforeseen problems. As soon as you arrive you will be able to relax and make the most of your stay in the region.
Because the Dordogne has been our playground since we were children, we will talk to you about it with passion so that you can immerse yourselves in the area and benefit from the top tips of the moment.

The restaurant: specialities of the Dordogne
From his open kitchen, the chef showcases the specialities of the Dordogne, opting to buy from local producers. On the terrace, or on the veranda you can sample typical Périgordian dishes or choose fish, salads ….
And if you fancy finger food or chips, there is a a whole range of takeaway food on offer from the team at the snack bar.

The perfect place to meet up with friends, watch a match or sip a cocktail. The bar staff will be delighted to show you the drinks menu which gives pride of place to good local wines and exotic cocktails.
Every day the bell rings for happy hour! Campsite entertainment takes place on the terrace in the evenings.
The shop
No need to take the car, the shop is there to help out: croissants, pains au chocolat, and fresh bread for breakfast or for sandwiches to take on a walk on the Périgord paths.
Rachida and her team have a range of fruit and fresh vegetables on sale, a selection of local products, organic food, etc. It’s also a good place to buy presents; there are toys, souvenirs, clothes and fashion accessories.

The aromatic garden, a touch of nature near to Sarlat-la-Canéda
This is the cherry on the cake for your rural holiday. On the edge of the campsite there is a large meadow with a spectacular view of the valley and its cliffs. A peaceful place where the plants of the aromatic garden grow, flourish and flower.
You can learn the names of the plants from information boards, and there is even a gourmet corner with red fruits. Look out for the vegetables growing nearby.
You are welcome to smell, touch and even pick, sparingly and with respect, the fruit of our gardeners’ work.
