Campsite in Dordogne with indoor pool and water park
Our 5-star campsite is situated between Sarlat and Lascaux, in Périgord Noir in the heart of Dordogne in France. With its huge water park, and only 350 metres from the river Vézère, Le Paradis gives everyone the chance to enjoy a swim, even during the cooler months. There are plenty of different family activities: from diving into the Vézère to sunbathing by one of the pools.
There is an indoor heated pool with spa (sauna, hammam, jacuzzi). Outside there are two swimming pools; one of them is heated. There is also a heated paddling pool and lots of fun and water play to be had in the Splashpad.

You can swim in our indoor pool, heated to a minimum of 27° as soon as the campsite opens, so that all our guests can enjoy a swim, whatever the weather during your stay. This pool is dedicated to relaxation for your holidays in Dordogne.
Wellbeing area with hammam, sauna and jacuzzi
The spa is situated within the indoor pool area; you feel cocooned. Through the French windows there is a view of the campsite’s tropical gardens.
The use of the spa (hammam, sauna and jacuzzi) is included in the price of your holiday (for over 12 years only). Opening times depend on the season.
The outside swimming pools in our campsite near to Sarlat
There are two pools, set in a tropical garden, one heated at 27°, and a large relaxation area with sunbeds overlooking them.
More than just a swimming area, this is also a cool oasis in the middle of the hot summer. You can swim and relax in the shade of the banana trees. A tropical garden is the perfect place to chill out and chat with friends. You feel at one with the world, and it feels good.

Time to have fun! Run and splash around at the Splashpad. Fine misters, water jets, spray tunnels, tipping buckets …. children love it. Older children often can’t resist it either.
Happy children make for happy parents. The big heated and shaded paddling pool is perfectly safe for young children to splash around in. Right next to it is the large relaxation area from which adults can keep an eye on their children with no need to worry. A perfect place to enjoy your holidays in the Périgord Noir.

The large relaxation area is situated next to the inside pool, overlooking the outside pools.
If you like nothing better than reading a good book or playing cards while lying on your swimming towel, you will love the relaxation area, shaded by large drapes. The restaurant bar is on hand when you fancy a drink.

Kid’s disco club, aqua aerobics, water polo … during the summer season the campsite team organises activities to suit all tastes.
A Thai massage on your holiday in Dordogne
Pé is a professional masseuse, with a salon at the entrance to the indoor pool. She specialises in Thai massage which is particularly tuned into the needs of your body. She adapts her massage to the individual.

It may be raining and windy outside. But in the inside pool Camille always looks forward to seeing her aqua aerobics pupils. She inspires everyone with her music and contagious energy.
Practical information for your holidays in our campsite
The river is only a few steps away from the water park
On the banks of the river Vézère, our campsite is nestled in unspoilt countryside with thriving wildlife. The river is calm and shallow and there are many ways to enjoy this aquatic environment such as hiring a canoe. The campsite’s wooden jetty gives direct access to river activities in Dordogne.
Early in the morning, it is the ideal place for observing the wild ducks, a heron or the flash of a kingfisher before the canoes are out. The river is 35 metres wide and the perfect place for families looking for aquatic pursuits in nature. You can also fish from the campsite.
Our campsite in Dordogne has pitches to rent and cottages by the river. The banks of Le Paradis campsite are situated near Saint-Léon-sur-Vézère and the largest troglodytic village in Europe, La Roque Saint-Christophe.
When is the aquatic area open?
The heated indoor swimming pool with Spa and Jacuzzi is open from the opening of the campsite until closing time, as are all services. Access is free of charge.
Our outdoor pools are open from mid-May to early October (dates may vary according to weather conditions).
Are the pools heated?
The indoor pool is heated. Our outdoor pools are heated in low season, with the exception of the largest pool.
Are swimming shorts allowed?
Yes, all swimmers must wear clothing suitable for swimming (shorts, Bermuda shorts, etc.). Babies must wear a special diaper.
What are the conditions of access to the wellness area (Sauna, Hammam)?
Access to the Sauna and Hammam is free and reserved for people aged 12 and over. Access is only possible during pool opening hours.
