This 8th stage of the Tour de France connects Périgueux to Bergerac over nearly 180 kilometres, in the heart of the Dordogne. A route entirely within the Périgord which highlights the richness and diversity of the local landscapes.

From Montignac to Sarlat, including Tursac and Les Eyzies, the entire Vézère Valley will be in the spotlight. Where to see the Tour de France near the Le Paradis campsite
Here are a few places that we recommend you visit to see the riders pass and experience the atmosphere of the Tour de France:
- Montignac-Lascaux: The cyclists will pass through the heart of the village in an atmosphere that promises to be particularly festive and lively,
- At Camping Le Paradis : The peloton will pass in front of Le Paradis, giving you the opportunity to experience the atmosphere of the caravan without leaving the campsite.
- Between Tursac and Les Eyzies: A slightly hilly section where the road gradually climbs, perfect for encouraging the runners in their efforts.
- Domme: A steep climb will lead to this village perched offering a spectacular view over the Dordogne Valley,
- Le Buisson-de-Cadouin: The route also includes a climb near the village, a location strategic for encouraging the peloton,
- Bergerac : The ideal place to experience all the intensity of the final and witness a spectacular sprint as the riders approach the finish line.

On Sunday July 12th,Stage 9 will take place in Corrèze, from Malemort to Ussel. This new, more hilly setting, promises an intense sporting day at the heart of the Massif Central.
You can watch the riders set off from Malemort, an hour from Le Paradis campsite in Saint-Léon-sur-Vézère.
