Out of our glamping accommodation, the Lodge Explorer is designed for campers who want to be close to nature and enjoy a comfortable holiday in Périgord.

The lodges are grouped together in an intimate area sheltered by 100-year-old great oaks. You are guaranteed shade, and a woodland experience.

A well designed and practical Lodge
The Lodge Explorer tent, mounted on poles, is centred around a large and convivial area, with an open plan kitchen leading into the living room and the outside.
It’s an ultra-modern cabin with contemporary design furniture. The bedrooms and kitchen have several storage areas. For your comfort, the Lodge Explorer has hot water, electricity, toilets and comfortable beds.

Experience the rutting season in Dordogne
Staying in a canvas cabin during the rutting season is a rare privilege. As soon as autumn comes you can hear the clashing of antlers from the cabin terraces. The stags take part in vocal jousts to win over the heart of a female. Their powerful roars create a bewitching atmosphere. Local inhabitants and many of our guests particularly appreciate this unique period.

Time to relax. You are surrounded by the natural world, but with free access to the indoor, heated swimming pool and spa: it’s paradise at Le Paradis! Why not wind down in the spa after a day sightseeing in the Périgord. You can choose the dry heat of the sauna or the humid air of the hammam. The jacuzzi is the perfect choice for easing sore muscles after a hike.
Explore the footpaths of the Dordogne
There are plenty of opportunities for special activities in the woods and rivers of the Périgord. Wander round the campsite and learn about the wildlife from the information boards. See if you can spot the 9 nesting boxes in the trees. You can leave the campsite by canoe, bike or on foot to explore the local area. During your holiday, you will be invited to join one of Gé and Ellen’s, excursions either walking or biking. Experts on life in the Dordogne, they will be able to show you its treasures.

All you have to do is to walk along the paths outside your canvas cabin to find surprises at every step: the wildlife overhead in the skies and the trees, ruins of old buildings, troglodytic caves, panoramic viewpoints, etc. And did you know?
The Dhagpo Kagyu Ling, one of the 8 main Buddhist temples in France, is just 10 minutes away from the campsite. Everyone can visit its peaceful gardens, practise meditation and learn the Dharma.
The Dordogne, good enough to eat
To get even closer to nature, we invite you to discover our aromatic garden. It is a place to savour during your glamping holiday. You will find it in the middle of a maze of Miscanthus. It is a unique place, for sharing and relaxing, with 40 edible plants. There are herbs, fruit and vegetables and an area dedicated to red berries.
At Le Paradis, every night in the woodland is special, spent under the clear skies of the Dordogne.
Availability and practical Information
Our glamping accommodation does not have any heating. We suggest you check the weather forecast before coming to the Périgord, to help you know what to bring. If the nights are a little chilly, your accommodation has a duvet and under sheet to keep you warm. In the low season you can stay from a minimum of 2 nights. In the summer season the minimum is 6 nights. You can arrive on Wednesday or Saturday.

What equipment is provided in the mobile homes (crockery, bed linen, etc.)?
Crockery and cutlery are provided.
Comforters, blankets and pillows are provided.

What time can we arrive?
You can arrive throughout the day. You have access to all campsite services. Mobile homes are available from 3pm.
Comment faire en cas d’arrivée tardive ?
In the event of late arrival, outside reception opening hours, please call 05 53 50 72 64. We will leave the access map and your key at reception in an envelope with your name on it.
What time must the mobile home be vacated?
The mobile home must be vacated by 10am. We ask you to make an appointment at reception for the inventory of fixtures.
When renting accommodation, do I have to leave a deposit?
A deposit is required for each rental. This will be returned to you on your departure after the mobile home has been checked by a member of our team.
Is cleaning included in the rental price?
No. Cleaning is not included in the rental price. When you book, you can opt for the cleaning package, which can vary from €90 to €130 depending on your accommodation category.
The cleaning package does not exclude returning the mobile home in a suitable condition: dishes clean and tidy, kitchen area clean, rubbish emptied into containers, barbecue cleaned…
Is there a television in the rentals?
Rentals are not equipped with television, except for the Premium Taos Cottages (cottage) and the Houses (houses). We do not offer televisions for rental.
Are the rental properties non-smoking?
Yes, all our rentals are non-smoking.
Are pets allowed in mobile homes?
Yes, pets are welcome in all mobile homes except Cottage Life.
