A campsite by the river in Dordogne
Our campsite is situated at Saint-Léon-sur-Vézère in Périgord Noir. It is in a valley legendary for its connection with the origins of mankind. But in particular, our campsite is on the banks of the Vézère, the perfect river for fishing and canoeing. It is also a beautiful natural swimming pool. On the other side of the campsite, is the Côte de Jor, a green and peaceful hillside, labelled Natura 2000.
Our rentals, situated between cliff and river, blend in with the landscape. Everyone can relax during a holiday in France near to Lascaux, Sarlat and Les Eyzies.
Among the many campsites in Dordogne, Le Paradis is lucky to cohabit with the life of the river Vézère. It borders a part of the campsite. You can access it easily by a jetty and swim, fish or canoe.

Our Bellevue cottages are situated on the river bank. There are also pitches next to the river for campers.
All our accommodation is well placed, all surrounded by nature, and they all have different advantages depending on what you are looking for; peace and quiet, easy access, near to the shop and games, etc.
Swimming pools near to your accommodation and to the river
At our campsite in Périgord Noir, it is easy to enjoy both swimming pools and the river. The pools and water games can be used as soon as the campsite opens. There is a heated paddling pool for children. The inside pool and one of the outside pools are also heated.
In the inside pool there is also a spa with jacuzzi, sauna and hammam.
For river swimming enthusiasts, there is a small beach just minutes away from the campsite. You can easily get there on a track from the campsite.

Spring and autumn are a good time to enjoy the river. It is quiet, and so perfect for observing wildlife. The soft glow of the sun and the quality of the light favours the outdoor life.
