At the campsite

  • What are the opening periods of the campsite, and what services does it offer?

    The campsite is open from April 1st to October 20th.
    All the services and facilities (swimming pools, restaurant, bar and shop) are open throughout the entire opening period.
    The houses are available for rental throughout the year.

  • How old must children be to participate in the Kid's Club?

    The kid’s club is free of charge, and it is accessible to children from the age of four.
    The campsite offers activities for children, teenagers and adults in July and August.

  • Are barbecues authorised on the campsite?

    Yes.
    Barbecues are authorised on the campsite except when they are prohibited by prefectural order.

  • Is the campsite accessible to persons with reduced mobility?

    Yes.
    Fortunately, the Le Paradis campsite is almost entirely flat, making it easier to get around. All the buildings are accessible by wheelchair (including the reception, grocery, bar, restaurant and swimming pools).

  • Are visitors admitted?

    Yes.
    Visitors are admitted, under the responsibility of their hosts, after announcing their arrival at reception and paying a € 4 fee.

  • Is there a Wi-Fi connection at the campsite?

    Yes.
    Wi-Fi is accessible throughout the campsite, and low-speed Internet is free of charge. Tickets for high-speed Internet are on sale at reception.
    To access Wi-Fi, simply connect to the Le Paradis Campsite network. Once you connect, you may create your account, entering your last and first names and email address. Then choose between free low-speed Internet (no need for a code) or fee-paid high-speed Internet (by entering the codes on your receipt). You should only create one account for each connected device.

Pitches

  • Are the pitches equipped with electrical sockets?

    Yes.
    All the pitches are equipped with electrical terminals.

  • Is there a water source on each pitch?

    Most of our pitches feature a water supply.

  • Are water and electricity included in the price of the pitch?

    Yes.
    Water and electricity are included in the price of the pitch.

  • Does the campsite offer specific pitches for camper-vans?

    No.
    We make no distinction among camper-vans, caravans and tents. All the pitches are available for any of these types of accommodation.

  • May toilets be emptied on the pitch?

    No.
    Toilets may not be emptied directly onto the pitch, nor into the sinks.
    Equipment for this purpose is provided in each sanitary facility and at the camper service platform.

  • What time do the pitches become available?

    Pitches are available beginning at 1 p.m.

  • What is the check-out time for a pitch?

    You must check out of the pitch by midday.

  • What is the check-out time for a pitch?

    Holders of the following cards enjoy a preferential rate during the off-season: Adac, Acsi, Camping Key and Anwb.

Rental Accomommodation

  • What equipment is provided in the mobile homes (dishes, linens, etc.)?

    Dishes and cooking utensils are provided with the rental accommodation.
    Comforters, blankets and pillows are also provided.
    You may view the complete list of equipment from the page corresponding with your choice of rental accommodation.

  • What is the earliest time that we may arrive?

    You may arrive at any time of day. You will have access to the campsite services.
    The mobile homes become accessible beginning at 3 p.m.

  • What should we do if we will be arriving late?

    If you will be arriving late – outside the reception opening hours – we ask that you contact us ahead of time by telephone at +33 (0)5 53 50 72 64.
    We will leave the access map and your key at reception.

  • What is the check-out time for a mobile home?

    You must check out of your mobile home by 10 a.m.
    We ask you that you make an appointment at reception to follow the stock-taking procedure.

  • Is it necessary to make a security deposit when renting an accommodation?

    For each rental accommodation, you will be asked to make a security deposit of € 100 in cash, or with your credit card.
    The deposit will be returned to you upon your departure after a member of our team verifies the mobile home.

  • Is housekeeping included in the price of the accommodation?

    No, housekeeping is not included in the price of the accommodation.
    When you reserve, you may opt for the housekeeping service for the flat rate of €60.

    The payment of this service does not exclude the necessity of leaving the mobile home in an acceptable state (washed dishes, clean kitchen area).

  • Is the accommodation equipped with televisions?

    The accommodation is not equipped with televisions, with the exception of the Premium Key West Cottages and the houses.
    We do not offer television sets for hire.

  • Is the rental accommodation non-smoking?

    Yes.
    All our rental accommodation is non-smoking.

  • Are animals admitted into the mobile homes?

    Yes.
    Animals are admitted into the mobile homes, with the exception of Cottage Life.

The Swimming Pools and Aquatic Space

  • When is the aquatic space open?

    The heated indoor swimming pool, spa and Jacuzzi are open throughout the campsite opening period, like all the campsite’s services. Access is free of charge.
    The outdoor swimming pools are open beginning in mid-May until the beginning of October (these dates may vary according to weather conditions).

  • Are the swimming pools heated?

    The indoor swimming pool, with spa and Jacuzzi, is heated.

    The outdoor swimming pools are heated during the off-season, with the exception of the largest pool.

  • Are swimming trunks authorised in the swimming pool?

    Yes.
    All swimmers must wear appropriate swimwear (such as trunks, Bermuda shorts, and so on). Babies must wear a special swimming diaper.

  • What are the for access to the well-being area (including sauna and steam bath)?

    Access to the sauna and steam bath is free, but these facilities are reserved to guests over the age of 12. They are accessible only during opening hours (every day from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. in 2016).

Miscellaneous

  • What means of transport are available?

    The campsite is located in a rural zone. There are no public transports available nearby.
    The campsite offers various types of bicycles for hire: bikes, all-terrain bikes, one electric all-terrain bike and one Nissan Leaf Black Edition 2017 electric car (for more information, see www.drivy.com).

  • How may we hire the electric car (Nissan Leaf Black Edition 2017)?

    The campsite offers an electric Nissan Leaf Black Edition 2017 for hire so that you may discover the region’s remarkable sites.
    To reserve it, please consult www.drivy.com.
    Select the location: Saint Léon Sur Vézère.
    Enter the dates that you would like to hire the car and the estimated number of kilometres you will drive.

    We will process it as quickly as possible.
    You will receive an email conforming the availability of the car. When you receive this confirmation, you must make your payment online using a banking (or credit) card in order to finalise the process.

  • What is the closest train station? How about the closest airport?

    The closest train stations are in Les Eyzies de Tayac (15km), Condat (20km), Brive (50km) and Périgueux (45km).
    The closest airport is the Bergerac airport (70km).

  • What is the closest village to the campsite?

    The closest village is Le Moustier, located 1.7km from the campsite. You will find a bakery and a restaurant there.
    Saint Léon sur Vézère, listed as one of the Most Beautiful Villages of France, is located 4 km from the campsite.

  • Is a supermarket easily accessible from the campsite?

    The closest supermarket is located in the village of Montignac, 13 km from the campsite.

  • Is it possible to fish at the campsite?

    Yes.
    The Vézère River runs alongside the campsite. Fishing is authorised. Fishing permits are on sale at reception.
    The Vézère is home to salmon, sea trout, shads, lampreys, pike, carp, perch, roaches, bleak, sheatfish and eels. (+ details in French)

  • May we swim in the river?

    Yes.
    The Vézère River runs alongside the campsite. Swimming in the river is authorised, and there is a floating dock set up for swimmers. However, there is no lifeguard on duty.

  • How far away from the campsite are the Lascaux caves?

    The campsite is located approximately 15 kilometres from the Lascaux cave

  • What payment methods are accepted at the campsite?

    We accept payments in cash, or with a banking (or credit) card.

  • How can I make a payment online?

    You may settle the balance for your stay on our website.
    Click on the “Practical” heading, then the “Online payment“ page.

    Enter your booking reference, which you will find in the confirmation correspondence.
