Eco-awareness, what is it?

Ever more decided and determined to reduce its impact on the environment, the Le Paradis campsite innovates and invests each year in new projects and equipment in favour of sustainable development.

The aromatic garden has been extended and transformed to become a vast communal kitchen garden, ever lusher with plants, fruits and vegetables. Each year, our gardeners demonstrate ever more imaginative landscaping creations.

In 2017, the campsite officially became a Bird Protection Refuge (LPO), and it has invested in equipment that will enable it to take care of the birds that nest, live or pass through its territory (by providing nest-boxes and wintertime food for the birds and display campaigns and other educational actions for the public).

New solar-powered lighting will be installed this season.

All these projects, and many others, are part of our environmental certification (Green Key) and labelling (Ecolabel) approach, and they are the motivation behind establishing an eco-participation for our campers.

Just as you participate in our eco-friendly approach – by respecting our environmental policy, composting your organic waste, sorting recyclables (plastic, glass, paper, etc.) and saving resources – this eco-awareness enables you to contribute to our eco-friendly projects (garden development, new energy-saving equipment, the pursuit of our approach to local fauna protection, the use of renewable energies, etc.).

Of course, we will regularly update you on the ways that put this eco-awareness to use.
